Online Communication

I  have always been an advocate for appreciating how technology has grown with us, providing opportunities to connect with those in places and at times we might never have been able to without it, but also preaching that there is no better communication than face to face. Without a voice to convey tone, a face to observe expressions and a body to take cues from, communication has its limits. I do believe however, that actively listening to someone, even online is the key to building a relationship and is rare in this day and age where the point is the end goal and any words surrounding it are padding that stands in the way. It is the padding surrounding the point someone is trying to make where their personality lives..

  1. I have to agree with you Chloe! Nothing compares to a face-to-face conversations but like you say there are so many advantages to online communication.
